We're Hiring: Accountant
Location:* DHA Phase 3, Lahore, Pakistan
Job Type:* Full-Time | On-site
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the financial records and day-to-day accounting operations of a jewellery business. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, financial reporting skills, and preferably experience in retail, jewellery, or precious metals businesses.
### Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting transactions.
* Manage daily sales, purchases, expenses, and cash transactions.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
* Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets.
* Monitor inventory records and reconcile physical stock with accounting records.
* Maintain accurate records of jewellery purchases, sales, returns, and exchanges.
* Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and petty cash.
* Manage invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups.
* Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
* Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
* Coordinate with management on financial performance and reporting.
### Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
* 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
* Experience in retail accounting will be an advantage; jewellery industry experience is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally.
* Good understanding of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.

A proactive accounting professional who can independently manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decisions.
