Magnus Apparels is seeking an energetic and seasoned professional to fill the role of Manager - Material Management & Control in Lahore. This position involves managing the acquisition, inventory management, and allocation of raw materials within a fast-paced garment manufacturing setup.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement and management of fabrics, accessories, and trims, including buttons, threads, zippers, labels, and bags.
- Maintain ideal inventory quantities while driving cost efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors, manufacturing teams, and internal departments.
- Keep precise logs and guarantee the prompt distribution of supplies.
- Apply and manage efficient control mechanisms and stock management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile/Apparel Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of pertinent experience in garment manufacturing, ideally focused on material management.
- Deep understanding of fabrics, trims, accessories, and stock control methodologies.
- Strong capabilities in planning, analysis, and cross-departmental coordination.
- Proficiency in using ERP software and MS Excel.
- A Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain or a related area is advantageous.
- Professional credentials in Inventory Management or SCM are desirable.
- Prior experience within an export-focused apparel business is a plus.
