Insurance Revolution is looking for a qualified Database Engineer based in Pakistan to join their team in a fully remote capacity.
About the role
This position requires working remotely from Pakistan between 1:30 PM and 9:30 PM PKT.
Responsibilities
- Manage database administration, performance tuning, data backups, system recovery, and high availability setup.
- Utilise data engineering tools and cloud platform services to support database operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Supabase, and NoSQL solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
- Comprehensive knowledge of database administration, performance optimization, backups, recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience with OGI and Noetica is advantageous.
